Help identify this set of dishes

We bought this 70s looking stoneware set and are kind of obsessed with it...can you help me find out more about it?
Purchased last month at an antiques mall in Portland, OR. The price tag said "Japanese stoneware" but the dishes themselves have zero markings to indicate the maker and the seller wasn't around. How can I find out more about them? I tried google reverse image search on a couple shots of the design without any results.
Thanks!

Best answer: This indicates that it is a sikyatki pattern, FWIW.

Best answer: Maybe related to this and this...no new info there, though. You could try Replacements.com.

Replacements.com is magic. They got back to my mom on Christmas Day within 6 hours with the ID of an obscure 1930s department store wine glass pattern. (Not valuable or fancy, just something her mom had sitting around.) Definitely send them your pictures.

No, sorry, mine is wrong. Posted too soon. Closer look doesn't have same paint style. Wintersweet's second link is dead on.

Best answer: Found some matching coffee mugs, on etsy. No further info though (but love them!)

Best answer: Looks like a stylized version of Nampeyo pottery with Sityatki birds.
Here's more about Nampeyo the ceramic artist and her work.
The phrase "Hopi revival" might be useful.
But, yeah, seems like this was completely mislabeled at the shop.

Response by poster: Thanks all--Replacements.com had no information, but they definitely look to be painted by "CVD" and I'm sorely tempted by the matching coffee mugs WesterbergHigh found. My husband and I spent quite a bit of time this weekend reading about Nampeyo and Hopi revival art, so I feel like this is a question well answered!
