Lenovo replacement for X201

I have had the Lenovo Thinkpad X201 for over 4 years and now it is dying :(. Hoping to get a replacement-ideas and Black Friday deals would be great.

Since it is the time to shop I am thinking of replacing my X201 with a new one. The problem is that I have been out of touch with laptops (didn't follow it so closely after I bought mine) so I have no idea what has come after the Thinkpad X201 and which one is the latest one. I do want another Lenovo and not any other brand.
I will be using this for business purpose (so fast, anti glare, 12 inch, with solid specs is needed). Preferably a Thnkpad X___ would be great. Wondering how the T440/s compares to the X250.

Would love some ideas on Lenovo professional laptops and any ideas/links on today's deals would be awesome. Many thanks!

As someone who was just recently looking for a new Thinkpad, I found this review of all the major Thinkpad models very helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LglbzbWqLcg

You'll find the T440 annoyingly bulky and heavy. Go with an X250 or an X1 Carbon. The premium X250 configuration with hi-res screen and SSD is well worth the extra cost IMHO.

I have an X1 Carbon and an X230, and I like them both a lot. I actually prefer typing on the X230 because the Carbon's sharp case edge jabs into my palms, but the Carbon has a larger screen and a very sexy design.

Seconding the X1 Carbon. I bought mine last year on Black Friday and took advantage of the discounts to upgrade the processor to i7 and hard drive to a 256GB SSD. I'm a home based freelancer so I was particularly interested in top notch performance and portability. I definitely wasn't disappointed on either front. It's super light weight and lightning fast.

I'm a small laptop fan, and I think the X1's footprint is just disappointing compared to 11/12in machine. It feels like it might as well be something thin but big like my 15in retina MacBook. It's basically a thinner t4xxS with nicer display options, not a snazzier X series. It sort of feels like a lie, and probably should have gotten its own letter.

And I like the X1! But it sort of feels like... What happened to the iPhone with the 5 and now the 6. Or something like that.

Buy the 1080p x250 and don't feel bad about it. It's one of the only machines out there that size that actually has you know like, ports and stuff. And storage you can replace/upgrade.
