Graphs for the ignorant

I've been tracking my mood over the past seven weeks, giving it a score out of ten, along with some other information (e.g. amount of exercise, alcohol consumption, prescription drug usage). I want to find a way to put all this data into graph form.

Is there a program or app that will let me not only track the date and mood score for each day, but also see how the other information affects each score - e.g. having more than 2 drinks on a given day generally leads to a decreased mood the next? I have access to a computer and iPad, but not much mathematical knowledge.

The Optimism App seems pretty close to what you're looking for.

I've been using Pacifica for this at AskMe's recommendation. You can track caffeine, sleep, social interaction, meds, water, alllll sorts of things - and then cycle through those factors you've tracked over top of your mood graph.

Seconding Pacifica, it is made for this.

A great source of ideas for what to do with all kinds of self data is http://quantifiedself.com. Their guide to self-tracking tools may have additional things to try.

Also, you didn't mention the form in which you have your data now. If it's a spreadsheet, you could generate graphs right from the spreadsheet application.

If you do have a spreadsheet, check out the free app for iPad, Vizable. Very, very cool.
