Empty Messages in Email

My email is showing empty messages I didn't send.

This has all happened today. Any time a message is sent to me, an empty message is sent back that I didn't send.

For example, I got a promotional email from Kroger today. It shows (kroger, me) in the recipient line and there is a blank reply from me.

This also happened when I texted my email a document - it texted me back a blank empty document. It said 0html or something as the name.

Have I been hacked? What do I do? This is one of my personal email addresses on gmail.

Best answer: Did you accidentally enable the vacation reply (under settings/general)?
