Smoothies on the go

I've started having smoothies for breakfast but I don't know the best way to have them on the go.
Usually my boyfriend will put it in a small tupperware tub for me and I eat it with a spoon at work but there must be a better way.
Is there a travel mug anyone has used that is particularly good for smoothies?
Is there one with a straw wide enough to drink a smoothie through?
Anyone have any suggestions or specific recommendations. I don't drink coffee so I've never brought a travel mug. I'm a big lost.

We use Blender Bottles...without the little wire wisk though. The drinking lid snaps tight, never had a leak although I'm not throwing it around in a backpack or anything.

I have these Mason jar travel mugs, and they have really wide straws you could drink a smoothie through.

My wife has a smoothie every day. Makes it with this Cuisinart smoothie machine (which is awesome). It comes with smoothie cups - you use them for the blending and then there's a top that screws on to drink out of.

In case the tervis doesn't work out, this is what I use for my daily breakfast smoothie and it is awesome.

This may be a bit crunchy granola for your tastes, but I just put mine in a mason jar (or anything that seals really well for travel) and then I drink them sans straw at work.
