Clothing and shoe stores in Toronto

I'm shopping for shoes and clothes in Toronto and I am looking for outlet stores within TTC reach. I don't have a car so going to Heartland in Mississauga is a major inconvenience because I have no car.

Obviously prices matter, so i am looking for ones that rival Heartland. Specifically, I am looking for formal and casual clothing stores as well as shoes for long retail hours (Clarks or anything similar). I'm open to all suggestions and I'd like to hear where you shop.

Vaughan Mills apparently has a free shuttle from Union Station. From Union there is also a paid bus ($20 one way/$30 return) to the Premium Outlets in Halton Hills.

Orfus Road has deeply discounted shoes and casual clothing, though it's been a few years since I've been so I'm not sure how late the stores are open. Close to Lawrence West or Yorkdale station.

There are outlet-type stores at The Shops at Don Mills (Don Mills and Lawrence), though I wouldn't say it's particularly cheap (I've never been to Heartland). Apparently Bus 25 goes there from Danforth.
