Battle-ready or removable-blade lightsaber?

Is it more important that my new lightsaber be battle ready or have a removable blade? And is ultraforce still the go-to source for all my lightsaber-shopping needs?
I've always wanted a really nice lightsaber, and am getting a big, fat tax refund. I'll not be doing any LARPing, but I could see knocking the blade around a little during transport. Plus, I'll likely display my new weaponry with the full suit of armor I inherited from my father, perhaps in place of the existing sword.

Best answer: I have a friend that works at SaberForge. They warranty those suckers for a year, and supposedly they're strong enough for full-speed duels, so if you anticipate knocking it around a lot, maybe go with them.
On the other hand, if you mostly anticipate wandering around conventions with it, then yeah, I'd go with a removable blade for the sake of convenience. Regular swords get annoying/heavy to walk around with, and I suspect a saber would have basically the same issue.

Response by poster: I just now ordered a standard ForceFX--they have a lot of positive buzz, and they're available from Amazon, so free Prime shipping. Removable blades weaken the thing, which makes sense. Battle-ready models sacrifice the cool power up and down effects, and the really battle-ready ones are pricey. One big advantage to the SaberForge models is that you can get a plugged-in always-on feature, which I, but not my girlfriend, think would be cool with the suit of armor.
