Receiving international mail from sellers who won't ship internationally

I'm looking for a service that will, say, receive/collect UK/European packages purchased on eBay, arrange international shipping to the US, and send them to me. These would be for auctions where international shipping isn't an option. So, if it's a UK auction, I'd be looking for a UK service that could accept the package on my behalf and forward it to me. I know this service exists, but what should I be googling to find it? Is it courier shipping? Does anyone have any recommendations for particular companies/individuals who offer this service?

Best answer: This is usually called "mail forwarding service", "package forwarding service", or "remailer service". Here's an example for the UK and here's an example for Europe (I haven't personally used either one).
