I want Voss plastic bottles without the Voss water.

I've been searching high and low for empty plastic bottles like the ones Voss water uses, but with no luck. Help?

The 500 mL bottles are the perfect size and shape for crafts, but they're hard for me to find and I hate spending $2-3 for stupid water when I just want the bottle. I'd like to find empty bottles that are as similar as possible if not identical, but I haven't found anything remotely close.

Here's what I like about the Voss bottles, and what I need in a substitute:

- Transparent, colorless, sturdy plastic (probably PET) - can't be easily dented by squeezing and won't crack if you drop it on a hard surface. No glass!
- Leakproof; designed for holding liquids.
- Cylindrical - the bottom should be as close to a flat circle as possible.
- The cap is the most important part: the same width as the rest of the bottle, with smooth sides and a flat top, so that the capped bottle is cylindrical and can stand upside down. No flip-top openings or anything like that. The cap should be large enough not to be a choking hazard.

I'm a little more flexible with the following:

- I'll consider wide-mouth jars, but I would strongly prefer a bottle with a narrow mouth.
- I would prefer a black or gray cap, but I'll take whatever color is available as long as the size and shape are right.
- Size is negotiable, as long as it's within the range of 4 to 10 inches high and 1.5 to 2.5 inches in diameter. None of those dinky TSA-friendly travel bottles.

I'd like to buy these bottles online, in small quantities. I'd prefer a source that regularly stocks them, rather than a one-off listing on eBay or Etsy. The price per bottle (plus shipping) shouldn't be more than a small bottle of Voss water.

I do not want bottles/jars like these (bottles are fine but caps are all wrong), these (too short, wrong proportions, breakable), or these (not perfect cylinders).

Thanks!

Just to check - are the Voss bottles really perfect cylinders? Or does the cap square them off?

Shipping looks a bitch, but...

I've seen Voss water bottles at Home Goods on deep discount.

to echo smackfu: Both TJMaxx and Homegoods (and probably Marshalls) all stock voss all the time, in my experience, at a pretty reasonable price
