Wearable video monitor to mirror iPhone display.

I need a video monitor headset (similar to google glass) that I can use to locally mirror my iPhone 6plus' screen and show video like a standard TV. Any suggestions or advice?

The display needs to leave one eye unobstructed and preferably not block the view of the other much. I don't mind wearing a heavy battery pack on my belt but The headmounted part should be light and unobtrusive if possible. Wire connection or bluetooth if possible are acceptable, but I can't depend on wifi or anything non-portable. HD would be nice, and I'd prefer not to pay more than about $1k for the whole rig excluding the iPhone.

Best answer: If you are willing to go low-res, you could get an old eyetop. I think they are NTSC in, but you could probably figure out a way to hack it.

Response by poster: Thanks for the suggestion.
I bought an eyetop and a USB powered signal converter. I scavenged the guts of each to make a single belt-mounted unit. Also, I took the projector and essential electronics out of the ugly sunglasses and mounted it on a wire boom that wraps around the back of my head.
