Help me find pans that can fit in my (large) toaster oven!

I recently got this oven for Christmas. I love the thing, and am starting to realize that my oven-less apartment is no longer oven-less. But much of my bakeware from my old apartment (with a full-size oven) doesn't fit inside. Can you help me find bakeware that would fit inside?

Maximum internal dimensions are 5.25" tall, 14" wide and 11.5" deep. I'm primarily looking for a dutch oven with lid that fills as much of the space as possible, but also things like pyrex casserole pans, cookie sheets, etc would be handy.

Response by poster: (Bonus points if said bakeware isn't super expensive!)

Response by poster: A handle-less, oven-safe (cast iron?) fry pan would be pretty sweet as well if it could fit..especially if a lid could be found.

Best answer: Pretty sure that a standard quarter size baking sheet will do you just fine for the most very basic on your list.

Despite their precautionary labels, I have used a lot of Pyrex* tupperbottoms in the toaster oven, and oven.. oh and hey, they come in 'oven safe' models now. I think the dimensions are good for your appliance.

*not real Pyrex, just a hostile takeover of the brandname with a reformulation of the silicate. So the nonsense not-really Pyrex glorified yupperware is all you can buy new now. They shatter terribly, so don't drop them, but otherwise they do everything the old Pyrex was supposed to.

Dutch ovens will be tricky, since by design they're meant to have high walls, and even taking the knob off may not be enough to get it to fit. I can get a 3 1/2 quart braiser (with knob on) into my toaster oven, though.

Be careful when buying a quarter sheet pan. The cheap ones at big lots (by Wilton?) have a huge grippery edge that makes it Just too big to fit.

Evidently, toaster oven bakeware is a thing.

I have the exact same oven. Mine came with a 12" pizza pan which I use to bake biscuits, cookies, etc. I also have this 3.5 quart cast iron casserole. This is often on sale at 60%-80% discounts where I live. I cooked stuffing this Christmas in the toaster oven but with the lid upside down--the handle sitting amongst the stuffing--because the lid the proper way up made the pot too high and I was too lazy to make a foil covering, and it fit fine like that and the stuffing was great. I also use the casserole to bake bread. I use a Corningware 8" square baking dish (it's about 25 years old) that I do small roasts (beef, chicken, pork tenderloin) in, and bake squares and brownies in. There's tons of Corningware that would work, also not super expensive and often on sale. Really, this toaster oven, a slow cooker, and you can cook to your heart's content. Add a microwave and a bread machine to feel really well-equipped when you've got the cash, or someone wants to buy you something special as a gift.

Just saw this book, too, if you would like more ideas.

I have this roasting pan from Ikea (actually have two of them, I use them so often). I have the same oven as you and I love it and use it all the time.

I can roast a chicken in that little roasting pan with enough room. I use the pizza pan all the time like angiep to bake biscuits. I also have a ceramic deep dish pizza stone that is great for pizza, fries, breaded things etc.

Note that they also have a tendency to explode when subject to sudden temperature changes so keep that in mind as well. Don't dump them in a sink full of water while still hot or take them from the freezer to the oven unless you enjoy dodging glass shrapnel.

Yeah, also don't use Pyrex to broil with -- a lesson, alas, I had to learn the hard way.

I've bought one of these for my smaller size toaster oven. Makes great pizza and is perfect for cookies and biscuits. http://www.pamperedchef.com/shop/Stoneware/Toaster+Oven+Pan/1448
