Help me find more songs for this playlist!
October 16, 2014 7:27 AM

I'm trying to build a playlist of head-nodding, chill music for 3AM drives. Help me fill this out some more!

What I've got so far:

Lonely Planet - Oddisee (spotify)
Crackle Blues (Burial Remix) - Blackdown, Burial (spotify)
Fleur - Sepalcure (spotify)

Prefer stuff that's on Spotify, but I'm down to grab stuff off of Beatport, etc. Thanks!

You could probably add almost anything by Four Tet to that list.

I tend to look for mixes, like an hour long or more, so you can get into them. All-time 'chill' favourites are:
Four Tet's Essential Mix
Loop Topologies by Max Cooper

Less of a mix and more of a radio show:
Chillstep Works vol 10 (or the 9 previous)

I'll maybe come back if I think of more.

I really dig Robert Glasper's stuff.

At the moment, my favourite chilled out driving song is the Hippie Sabotage remix of Tove Lo's Stay High. I swear the chorus influences traffic lights.

Also, Washed Out.

Also, for really soothing, quiet times.

Chromatics' Night Drive is a concept album about exactly this.

Jon Hopkins, Open Eye Signal and Collider.
Ulrich Schnauss, Blumenwiese Neben Autobahn [and in fact pretty much anything off Far Away Trains Passing By].
