I'm here to buy shoes; I don't need the extended powertrain warranty

Where (if anywhere) can I go in Manhattan to browse a reasonably large selection of high-quality men's dress shoes and try them on in different sizes without needing to deal with any salespeople? A warehouse with a bench would be fine. I am a guy with large but not gargantuan feet if that matters. Thanks.

Best answer: DSW might be a good option. All the available sizes are stacked below the shelves.

In addition to DSW my husband loves Century 21 for this. He wears a weird size and almost always has luck there.

Response by poster: Oh good grief it even has 'Warehouse' in the name. I went to the one on the UWS and found a good pair. Thanks.
