iPad Calendar Not Synching With iPhone
January 31, 2014 3:49 AM
Can't seem to get some items to synch between devices.
Ok...full disclosure...safe to say, this isn't my area of expertise. So much so, I posted this question a little while back as I wanted to know if I should use the iCloud features (and truthfully, I didn't know if I was using them already...)
That being said, I now enjoy the benefits of sharing 'certain' iCloud related information between my iPhone and iPad. I only wanted to share Contacts (email addresses, etc), Calendar events, Notes and Reminders.
The Contacts seem to be working, however, I can't get the Notes to synch and something has happened to my Reminders where I am getting "Null" notifications.
However, the thing that baffles me the most is the Calendar feature. I LOVE the Calendar feature on my iPhone and use it MANY times a day. I keep track of all appointments, meetings, etc, plus I am subscribed to a bunch of my favorite sports teams schedules and I love being able to see games, etc.
For a while, everything seemed to be working fine. Whatever I added to the iPhone Calendar, showed up on my iPad. I don't use my iPad as much as my iPhone (as I carry my phone everywhere I go), but I am starting to refer to my iPad calendar more and more.
Lately, I noticed that when I added a couple of meetings to my iPhone Calendar, it hasn't showed up on my iPad Calendar.
Can anyone offer any suggestions so I can fix this??
Thanks!
P.S. Not sure if it matters or not, but my iPhone is the iPhone 4 (iOS 6.x) and I have the iPad Air running iOS7 (again, things have synched in the past, so I am not sure if this is the issue)

Maybe certain calendars aren't getting synced? From this support document on syncing multiple calendars:

Sorry! I probably should have mentioned, that I was using my Yahoo Calendar in my iPhone...
Don't know if that helps.

If you are using a Yahoo! calendar on your iPhone, you have to make sure you are also using that calendar on your iPad. Check your iPad calendar settings and make sure that you aren't putting appointments on there into a different calendar.

Ok, I went into my Calendar settings into my iPad and had to re-enter in my Yahoo Calendar password (which I did) and a bunch of items that I added to my iPhone (which were omitted on my iPad) now showed up!
Great. However, I have noticed on my iPad a bunch of times that I have been asked for a password lately to check my email, etc.
Any idea why this is happening?
Thanks.
