Blog post needle in a hay stack - satire about photo equipment
December 5, 2013 9:49 AM
Help me find a satirical blog post I read a couple years ago? It was in "answer" to a beginner asking what camera he should buy, although the beginner was an example of the typical entry-level photographer.
The blogger made the bold move to recommend an advanced body (I think it was a Nikon D700), rather than the typical entry level recommendation. He then went into a timeline of the perpetual upgrade cycle of an enthusiast--starting off with a D90, then not being able to live until getting the D300, etc, etc.
Does this ring a bell to anyone? Google is not helping, so I need my fellow mefites to help me find this treasure!
