A good mechanic near New Orleans for a '94 4Runner?

This is a long shot, but does anybody know a good mechanic in the New Orleans area who'll work on my old 4Runner? I'm having a hard time finding one for some reason.
So, I have an old truck (which I've been asking a lot of Asks about) which is basically fine but for which I've been slowly compiling a list of minor issues that need to be taken care of either to prevent them turning into major ones or just because they're annoying. Some of these problems I'm comfortable handling on my own, and some of them I'm not. I'm looking for a good mechanic who will take care of the stuff that I'm not willing to deal with myself, and who can give the truck a thorough going-over in general to make sure that I haven't missed anything.
You wouldn't think this would be a hard problem, but I've been having a surprising amount of trouble with this! I've called three or four mechanics who are highly rated on Yelp (as well as my old mechanic that I used for my previous car) and they all either don't do the kind of work that I need them to do, don't work on cars that are that old, or don't work on Toyotas.
The most technical thing that I need to have done is probably getting the engine timing checked and adjusted if necessary. Other than that it's all pretty basic stuff, but I want it handled by a professional who I know will do it right so that I don't have to worry about it. Less expensive is obviously better, but I realize that a fair price at a good mechanic is probably not going to be super cheap. That's OK – I'm not looking for bargain basement, just a fair price for quality work.
I can drive out to the suburbs if necessary, but I'd prefer to stay closer to home if possible. It would be ideal if they were somewhere in the Mid-City area, so that I could take my bike there. If anybody has had some good experiences with mechanics in NOLA who they think will be up to the job for this car, I'm all ears.

I've had pretty good experiences at Park Place Auto as well. On the more expensive side, but he does a good job and I've never felt misled or any uncomfortable sense of mechanic shenanigans going on in the background. He worked on my 99 Lexus, so I would think he would be ok with an older Toyota.
