How do I add chapter and section numbers in MS Word 2007?

Is there an easy way to add chapter and section numbers as they correspond to a document in MS Word 2007?

I have a large MS Word document that has about 100+ instances of this:

Chapter 1:
Section 1:
...
Chapter 1:
Section 2:
...
Chapter 1:
Section 3:
...
Chapter 2:
Section 1:
... and so on and so forth. I want footer at the bottom of each page to say "Chapter X - Section X" and then the page number. Is there an easy way to do this? I'm stumped and I have a deadline and can't seem to get anywhere googling.

These steps and/or these steps look like your best bets.
