I'm looking for the closest EDM club scenes to my rural location in the USA along the VA-NC border.

Fifteen years ago there were drum-and-bass nights and monthly "raves" at clubs around Greensboro, NC, but I moved away and back and now I can't seem to find anything like this. I really need to get out and do some booty-shakin' and connection-makin'.

It's not super close, but U Street Music Hall in Washington, DC is very influential in the electronic music world.

Best answer: I'm not in this scene at all, but I have an EDM-loving friend who frequents Revolution Raleigh.

Richmond has some big parties fairly regularly.
