Can I remove "Add to Dictionary" from the Firefox context menu?

I never do this except by accident so not only does it waste space I end up with common misspellings in my dictionary. I'd just like to completely remove this option from the context menu. Everything I've been able to find via google points to
this extension
but apparently it doesn't work with FF20.

It's worth typing "about:config" into the address bar area and looking for any setting related to this, I guess

Firefox stores all its added spellings in a single file. Emptying it out and marking it as read-only wouldn't stop the menu item from wasting space, but it might stop FF from saving any misspellings.

Best answer: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_:_Tips_:_Customize_context_menu

In your profile create a folder called chrome and then a file in that folder called userChrome.css and insert these lines. Restart Firefox.

I did this a while ago since I was always accidentally selecting it. I used the Menu Editor extension and just moved it down lower in the menu. For some reason disabling it also removes the suggestions but just moving it down works.

Ask and ye shall receive:

Trim Context Menu Addon. The particular one that annoys you is: "spell-add-to-dictionary".

More complete docs exist at the github page.

(I am an dev on the Fx UX team, and baked this cake personally for you :) . Holler if you have questions / suggestions!).
