Short family stay in Kansai area

We'll be in the Kansai area of Japan for about a week. Any suggestions for a cheap, fun guest house for a family of four in the Kyoto or Nara area?

Three Sisters Inn in Kyoto. Right around the corner from Heian-jingu. AFAIK they don't have their own website, but google it and you'll find it.
