Modula? Modula? Wherefore art thou, dude?

Who or what was Modula? Not the typeface, or the programming language, but the album cover designer of such bizarre creations as Fleetwood Mac's "Mystery to Me" and Camel's self-titled album. Numerous google searches turn up nothing.

I would assume that it was a design firm similar to Hipgnosis.

I just searched "MODULA AND FLEETWOOD MAC" in Nexis for you in "News, All, English" and came up with exactly zero results.

Annoyingly in Google Books searches, "Modula-2" was, yes, a programming language from about the time PASCAL was popular.

This is frustrating, as this is a good question.

FWIW, they (?) seem to have specialized in airbrush paintings. Other covers: Fleetwood Mac's Penguin, Curved Air's Air Cut, and Camel's Mirage and The Snow Goose.

Best answer: The book "The Album Art of Steve Hardstaff" says "Two recent graduates from the University of Liverpool, Pete Fulwell and Jim Masson, were providing a similar service but with a broader catchment area. We joined forces and continued operations as Modula." via Google Books

Best answer: (Here is a 2008 article about Hardstaff in which Modula is accidentally referred to as Modular)
