What kind of plant is this? The coloring is similar to alternanthera dentata, but the leaf shape is wrong.

You should get him a friend. Caladiums come in all kinds of lovely colors (way more than that picture shows, actually.)

That's not a caladium! It's a pink syngonium podophyllum!
