Tracking with Typepad: Need good logs!

I currently have a Typepad Pro account, but am not impressed with Typepad's "View Visitor Stats" feature. I need to upgrade the log tracking.

I'm looking for decent log/tracking software that would be compatible with Typepad, and relatively inexpensive (~$100 is OK). Something where I can export logs into Excel and play around with number of visitors, most popular pages, click-through rates, etc. Something, but not necessarily, like Statcounter. Any suggestions?

I have a TypePad Pro account also.

Anything that relies on webbugs (images embedded in the page) will be compatible with TypePad. What you can't use is any software that analyzes the server logs (because TypePad doesn't offer access to them).

We use StatCounter at work to track stats for some of our pages, and I'm quite impressed with it.

They have several account levels available, starting at free. What I like is the amazing depth of the stat tracking information, even for the free account. They have Excel and CSV files of your stats available to download, and as a plus, you can make the tracker completely invisible on your site.

Oh, wait, I just saw you said "like StatCounter" *smacks forehead*

Out of curiousity, what doesn't StatCounter have that you want?

Response by poster: This is off the frontpage, so don't know if you'll read it, but StatCounter doesn't allow you to export the data as .CSV or .XLS (except for summary stats). They say they'll get around to it, but who knows when that will be.
