Parenting and Privilege

Asking for a friend: any one know of popular (or scholarly) books/articles on raising feminist children that might give more than a nod to boys?

Bonus points for sources that might help to navigate other forms of privilege that the newborn son has been born into.

Is the goal to raise them to treat everyone fairly or to teach them feminist theory and history, or both or something else?

I don't know if your friend is interested in blogs, but if so, Rainsing My Boychick is a great place to start, and the book reviews can provide some good suggestions for what to read.

Jackson Katz has a lot of relevant work.

There's an interesting roundtable-in-essays here.
