This is why I can't have nice things

Hiya. I have a Transformer Prime tf201 that doesn't want to turn on. Please help!

It seems to charge up, but won't turn on. What I've checked so far:

Charging (fully charged, showing green power light)
Turning on while plugged into the wall/compy
Pressing and holding the power button for about 10 seconds makes it buzz, but not turn on.
If it's attached to my compy via usb and I make it buzz, it starts to be recognized but the install always fails.
Hard reset using the blunt end of a needle

I'm not sure what else to check. Help?

Sounds like a hardware failure that you won't be able to fix. Contact their tech support.
