Is there a script that organizes most favorited mefi comments from highest to lowest?
I know this really defeats the purpose of mefi, but most times I don't have enough time to read through all the comments. It'd be super helpful if there were a greasemonkey script or something similar that let all the best comments bubble up to the top! I love metafilter's comment section more than anything, I hope I'm not speaking ignorance or blasphemy with this question.

Yep!
MetaFilter Multifavorites Multiwidth
I mean, it's not exactly what you want, but it highlights comments to a user-set threshold of favorites, and graphically displays the number of favorites by varying the width of a bar next to each comment. Makes it a little easier to skim down the page and only read the 'high favorites' comments.
Not that I recommend this way of reading MeFi comments.
