So, what's a guy like you doing in a job like this?

Okay, let's say I'm on OKCupid and I want to find a specific person who signed a message with what could possibly be his real last name. How would I go about this?
One would think I could find someone if I think I have his:
Real last name
Military rate and rank
Possible (though congested) base area
Ethnicity
Height
Childcare status
Religion
That he graduated for a non-specified "two year college"
That he was homeschooled
That he's an Aries
Music interests
Musical instrument that he plays
Book favorites
And photos (including one of him standing in front of what I'm assuming is or was his motorcycle; including those of him standing with members of bands; including one of him with some sort of Pokemon type badge dangling from his neck).
While I ignore about 90% of the derogatory messages left by men on OKCupid, this one made a derogatory comment towards me, my rate....and left his rate/rank and possible last name.
So, I'm halfway between wanting to strike good old fashioned "That was a bad idea, bucko" and "maybe think before you do something stupid" admonishment into his heart as well as keep a general lookout for him (because the military is fairly small).
I'm somewhat bored, if you can't tell, and not ashamed that I'm looking for this dude not so much because he annoyed me, but because he was (possibly) stupid enough to annoy me and THEN leave a trail.
Also, please recommend something other than contacting Navy Public Records, which I'd only use if I want to pretend I have some sort of official business (and I'd rather not go that far).
I need your more advanced search techniques including such as for Facebook (which doesn't seem to let you search via name + interests + location anymore), via Google, and other search engines.

This post was deleted for the following reason: This sounds like a frustrating situation, but it's sort of murky territory for Ask Metafilter. Please contact us if you have any questions. -- taz
Nothing good will come of this. Flag his message on Okcupid.

Isn't there a base directory that military personnel can access? I know you said Navy, but I am going to use the Army as an example.
If you are at Fort Hood, can't you call the switchboard at Fort Lewis and ask for Staff Sergeant Whoever, who is Infantry?
Also consider the guy may have used someone else's name & info in which case you do not want to make trouble for the person unless you can 100% verify it is the correct person.

You seriously wanna go after someone via cyberstalking because of a comment on some dating page? Whoa. I'd worry about other things than that if I reached that point. What would you get out of finding him? The ability to leave him a rude comment, too?

Response by poster: *Sighs* Alright. I mostly just didn't want to accidentally meet him face to face on accident someday because I forget faces pretty easily and I could imagine this guy recognizing -me- and then trying to mess with me.
A little annoyed people won't just answer the damn question. No one asked your opinions, whether the situation is good OR bad. Save that for the dating questions.

This thread is closed to new comments.
I would just let it go, or report to Okcupid if warranted.
