What's hiding under this hill?

I've driven by this spot hundreds of times, but last night I finally wondered, "What the hell?" Any DC residents with an idea of what's hiding at the corner of NY Ave, 9th St, and Brentwood Pkwy.?

Looks like landfill or reservoir to me.

Yeah, it looks like a covered reservoir with a pumping house to me, too.

Well that was pretty quick. Its DC Water's Brentwood Reservoir.

Yerp. The Federal Government had a security freakout a few years ago, and expunged as much information about the DC's water supply from the internet as it was able to.

I believe NPS also has a maintenance facility somewhere around there...
