What is it??

Help identify this creature/thing!

My cousin found this on the sidewalk. Gross thing.

We have absolutely no idea what it is—if it's a being, food product, plant, we have no idea. Anybody have a clue?

Looks like a slug to me. Not sure what the black thing is though...

It looks like a partially squished slug. I think the black stuff is its insides.

It looks a lot like most of a banana slug, which it might be if you're in the Pacific Northwest. Definitely a slug, though. Gross. How big is it?
