Arab Spring for beginners

Help me understand the Arab Spring.

Now that some time has passed since this question, I am hoping that perhaps there have been some more articles or books that help explain and examine the events of the Arab Spring.

I have seen this but I am looking for something with a little bit more analysis.

Has anyone found any well-written examinations of the causes and events? I am particularly interested in Egypt, but a wider-focus would be interesting. Who are the trusted voices and who should I avoid?

Egyptian Chronicles (Zeinobia), excellent coverage of what's going on in Egypt.

If you can read French: Nawaat, an amazing and excellent French-Tunisian group blog.

Jaladiyya (They have lots of articles in English too.)
