Where can I buy a baby keepsake in NYC?

Where in Manhattan can I buy an engraved gift for a new baby?

I'm bad at gift giving. But I have a nephew on the way (like, any day now) and want to buy something special for him. I'd love to get something engraved with his name and birth date.

I live in Manhattan and would like to shop in a store where I can see an item in person instead of buying something online.

Any ideas for stores and/or gifts?

(We're Jewish, so I'm not looking for a Christian-themed gift. I've looked online and have seen a lot of these. Secular is best, actually.)

What's your price range/gift idea? Are you thinking silver Tiffany rattle, or engraved aluminum mini baseball bat?

Tiffany is the iconic place.

They have special baby stuff, the silver rattle being one of the most popular.

I'm flexible. It looks like Tiffany has a wide price range -- though I wouldn't mind more moderately-priced stores as well.

Another respectable option is Michael C. Fina. Some cheaper stuff there.

Best answer: Mazel Tov! Try Macy's, Sak's, Bergdorf's, Henri Bendel. I know it sounds expensive, but it is not. Enjoy!
