I need a cat sitter recommendation for the Upper East Side.
I'm going away for weekend (Friday to Monday) nextweek, and I don't know anyone who has cats who lives in the neighborhood. I feel uneasy relying on Yelp reviews for this, as I'm completely neurotic not only about my cats receiving excellent care, but about giving a stranger the keys to my apartment. Has anyone had a great experience with a cat sitter who works on the Upper East Side?

Leave two bowls of food out and the toilet seat up? My cat usually fine for 4 days, he'll occasionally leave a solitary protest poop directly in front of the litter box if it doesn't meet his standards by day 4 or so.

This does not work with I'm completely neurotic ... about my cats receiving excellent care. I have the kind of cats who each have their own toothbrush.

My friend cat-sits for us and lives on the UES. Completely reliable, loves cats, will probably take pictures of them in cute poses and text them to you while you're away if you want. MeMail me for contact info.

I'm on the UWS and lurve kitties. I'd be happy to check in on your furballs. Cute pictures are forecast. As for feeling comfortable, making a facebook connection can give you someone's social network to appeal to in case of any problems. Feel free to MeMail!

I had a wonderful cat sitter when I lived on the UES. She lives on 95th and 3rd and took care of our cat many times. Memail me if you want more details.
