Where to find royalty-free vintage etchings/engravings?

What are the best sources online to find royalty-free (and cost-free) vintage etchings/engravings? I'm specifically looking for vegetable assortments for a project, but I'd like to have some varied resources as well.

The Public Domain Review is great for this sort of thing. They've got engravings here.

Harper's Magazines on Google Books is an OK source, but this, though hard-ish to search, can be helpful:

Database of Mid-Victorian wood-engraved Illustration

Since these are all before 1923, there's no copyright in the US.

That said, I didn't find much on vegetables...

Dover Press has a shop in Covent Garden, actually called Copyright-Free Images. It might be worth e-mailing them and asking what they have that fits the bill so you can follow it up where you are.
