Suggestion for a combined iPhone and iPad charging dock?

Good choice for a combined (and inexpensive) iPhone and iPad charging dock? Crucially, a dock that takes into account an iPhone's bumper case and iPad's case. No speakers required--just somewhere to put them overnight to charge.

Does it need to be an actual dock? A USB charger and USB-to-AC plug is about as simple and cheap as you can get, and they should come with your gear.

I have an XtremeMac In Charge Duo. IPad charges fine, but the iPhone 3GS is a bit temperamental. I'm using the right adaptor, but it doesn't seem to fit right. New iPhones may be better.

I don't use cases, but figured I'd mention it as a possible option.
