Crowdsource volunteering?

Help me find interesting projects that are crowdsourcing data entry to support research / scholarship.

I'm looking for other projects along the lines of the North American Bird Phenology Program that are using volunteer data entry to make information available to scholars and other researchers.

Bonus points for projects that are helping libraries or archives to make their materials more visible online.

You've probably already heard about it, but ReCaptcha and Duo Linguo are SO brilliant.

Best answer: A couple friends have put together this list, and their blog, which discusses many of the issues you are interested in, is pretty excellent too.

PatientsLikeMe has gotten pretty interesting, although research isn't the only use of that data.
