What are some recent books on Cognitive Science related to the Learning Sciences?
I need to read a book (any book) related to cognitive science that has been published recently. I would like it also to relate to the learning sciences. My interests in learning include motivation and identity. Really I am just looking for recommendations for enjoyable reads related to these topics. Any suggestions?

Response by poster: This first post is interesting but it is all foundation. I am looking for something in the last year or two related to both topics. I am not sure I understand the significance of the second post.
