Books on Cognitive Science Please

What are some recent books on Cognitive Science related to the Learning Sciences?

I need to read a book (any book) related to cognitive science that has been published recently. I would like it also to relate to the learning sciences. My interests in learning include motivation and identity. Really I am just looking for recommendations for enjoyable reads related to these topics. Any suggestions?

Did you see this post or this one? I have Brain Bugs on my shelf, waiting to be read/evaluated.

There's also the new book byGary Marcus, Guitar Zero,, which is sure to be enjoyable & informative.

This first post is interesting but it is all foundation. I am looking for something in the last year or two related to both topics. I am not sure I understand the significance of the second post.

The second post is about a book that investigates how some individuals are able to learn many, many languages.
