Looking for a wedding band near Providence, RI.

Recommendations for a wedding band (music, not a ring) in the Providence, RI area?

We're looking for a band to provide music at our wedding this July near Providence, RI, and we're not making much progress because we don't have a strong vision of what we want, aside from not cheesy. We're thinking more on the jazzy than rock side but we're open to all ideas for music that can be danced to.

Not sure what your budget is, but many years back Roomful of Blues was a regular fixture at black tie RISD events. They were a lot of fun, and had a knack for getting people with a wide range of musical tastes to venture out onto the dance floor.

Response by poster: Oh, budget. I should have mentioned that. We'd like to keep it under $2k, but if that's unreasonable, that would be helpful to know too.

Try Incadence. I think they do both jazz and rock. They're great.

I was at a wedding in Jamestown that had a great band. I'm pretty sure they were called Tuxedo Junction. Try finding them
