Lost childrens books section

Looking for a childrens book where objects and things are drawn small and precise. Almost like Goldbug or Waldo. From the 80s. Possible features: Things are categorized, there's drawing instruction, it's for boys, in a series.

How to Draw a Radish?

The description makes me think of Richard Scarry, but I don't know if he did drawing instruction. Ed Emberley has a bunch of drawing books from the right era, but the style is a little different.

The answer to these questions is usually either Ed Emberley or Lee J. Ames.
