Accessing visual basic thesaurus

Is there a way of accessing the MS Thesaurus through independent Visual Basic applications built in Visual Basic Studio? If so, how?

If not, what's the best way of accessing a thesaurus library using Visual Basic?

Best answer: Yes. You'll have to add a reference to the Word object model to your VB app.
