Do you know a good catsitter?

I need a catsitter near north Seattle with these qualifications. They can pick up my cat in Everett. They can keep my cat for an indeterminate period, possibly a couple months. They have experience living with cats. They charge no more than $10 a day over the cost of pickup, food, litter and other expenses. They can take weekly payments via Paypal or checks. Sookie has her shots and papers, as well as an airline-approved cat carrier. Do you know someone?

Background: A recent cardiac event has left me unable to care for my cat. All my doctors' appointments for this are after January 4, however I may need to go into the hospital possibly as soon as the next few days. I am on Social Security, and I cannot afford those catsitters I have found via Google, Craigslist or Seattle Weekly.

Perhaps a long shot, but call vets' offices and shelters, explain the situation, and ask if any of their staff or volunteers do petsitting on the side. I know my vet's technicians would. Also ask if they could post a "help wanted" ad for you in their offices?

My heart goes out to you, and I hope there's a solution to the situation in reach. Keep trying. Neighbors? Friends? Neighbors of friends? Friends of vet technicians?

Does your cat get along with other animals, like dogs and cats? I can't do it myself, but I am a petsitter and know lots of other pet sitters, and I can network for you.
