A good opening and a good ending make for a good film provide they come close together. Federico Fellini, [Recipe for a Good Film], a Fellini Lexicon, (1992)

When did certain film makers/producers start placing the title of the film at the very end of their film? I've noticed this tends to happen with independant/art-house style films? The film just begins and at the very end of the movie, the screen will flash the title of the film and then the credits will roll. Does someone know who started this?

The first time I noticed this in the theater was Jurassic Park, 1993.
