I'm heartbroken, and need some distraction. Ridiculously involved, dorky stories stories and youtube junk preferred.
The last few things to keep my interest were My Immortal, and the Ben creepypasta series of videos. I've watched almost every available Judge Judy episode I could find. Fun new stories to get lost in would be great. Thanks, metafilter

I think Girl Genius qualifies as ridiculously involved.

Best answer: The first thing I thought of was this really old webseries, The Money Shot (NSFW).
Then I thought of this weird little cartoon from the same era (the old episodes), Strindberg and Helium.
And also from the same era, the webcomic Sexy Losers (very NSFW).
Is saying you could watch Trapped In The Closet too obvious? ;)
I'll let you know if I can think of anything else. Big hugs, chica.

You Awaken in Razor Hill - utterly brilliant forum CYOA game that becomes equal parts scary, stirring and moving by the end.
Order of the Stick - a much-less-crude than it seems stick figure web cartoon. Very funny from the first strip - it's up to more than 800 strips by now, and the story he's telling is threatening to turn into Pop Literature.

The tale of Boatmurdered is a riveting, hilariously incompetent succession story of a colony of drunken, crazy dwarfs. The transcription of a succession game of Dwarf Fortress, from the Something Awful forums.

Following along with the other webcomic suggestions, you might like MS Paint Adventures. It's a long-running, frequently updated, and often ridiculously involved series of webcomics. The last completed story, called Problem Sleuth, starts here, and the current one (still in progress) is called Homestuck, and starts here.

Here's a sorta classic Achewood strip, which is apparently launching new material very soon. But the archive is like comic pinball genius. Hardly ever linear, but strong backstories for most characters.

Best answer: Someone suggested TvTropes, very effective at sucking you right in.
I'd add watching the videos from the Nostalgia Critic (and the rest of the team videos too).
Stumbleupon or Tumblr (all sorts of crap on there, here is a quick funny: http://disneyfaceswap.tumblr.com/ )
Other:
Cracked articles http://www.cracked.com/
Epic wins http://wins.failblog.org/
The Customer is not always right, hilarious stories http://notalwaysright.com/
Cake wrecks http://cakewrecks.blogspot.com/
Little moments of WIN http://itmademyday.com/
"research that makes people laugh, then makes them think" http://improbable.com/tv/
Start Homestuck from MSPaint Adventures! (weird but terribly engrossing and growing more and more badass with time) http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6

pbfcomics.com awesome and funny and never updates
www.smbc-comics.com awesome and funny and updates every day except sunday and there are movies and cartoons and other things
http://www.explosm.net/comics/ cyanide and happiness: very dark and sometimes disgusting humor. you'll probably like. updates very frequently.
http://www.menagea3.net/ - this is a linear story, so you have to go back to the beginning (worth it). the art is great and the humor is quite good too. A bit NSFW sometimes, but never porn-y. Always comedic. updates 3 times a week.
http://www.jesusandmo.net/ making fun of religion. updates once a week, most of the time.
http://www.oglaf.com/ funniest sex comedy ever drawn. _Quite_ NSFW in about 60% of panels. Some parts are a linear story, others are independent panels. (one liners like "is there a difference between dick jokes and jokes featuring dicks?") updates on sundays.
www.hipsterhitler.com you already know, there aren't that many panels. updates barely ever.
http://www.qwantz.com/index.php awesome language/philosophy humor. Geeky and brainy. This must have thousands upon thousands of panels. updates at least 5 times a week, sometimes 7.
and you already read hyperbole and a half.
