Your favourite websites for staying current with art, design, and culture?

I would like to rebuild a collection of blogs/websites to get inspired by and stay current with the art world. The bookmarks I used to have have since been lost or deleted for poor content. I have considered tumblr, but feel overwhelmed by the volume available and wouldn't know where to start. Also, I like it when there is some information or an article about what I'm looking at. Please share your favourite curated online resources with me!

I'm interested in:
- any kind of art: 2d/3d/photography/architecture/fashion/music/interior design, etc.
- contemporary works
- works by young and established artists
- non-traditional/avant garde/conceptual/thought-provoking

(Please nothing cutesy/glamourous/emo/self-identifies as "indie".)

Best answer: I really love We Find Wildness. It's about contemporary art, focusing especially on young artists.

I like Dude Craft a lot, despite the name. He blogs about inspiring art, design, and photography he finds on other sites in almost an aggregator-type fashion. Very graphic- and attribute-heavy.

Google Reader's Explore option suggests posts from Design*Sponge for me regularly. My friend Kate has a site called Pokate that highlights sculpture and materials and organically-inspired design.

FFFFound is pretty good (although there is certainly some cutesy/glamourous/emo/self-identified "indie" things to be found there.)

Best answer: If something is an interesting piece of new media art, it's going to be at Today and Tomorrow. It's low-noise and super consistent.

Response by poster: Thank you everyone for sharing some great links! Hope they'll keep coming.

Here are sites that I enjoy:
designboom
Flavorwire
DIS Magazine
trouvaillesdujour
Spoon & Tamago

And this used to be one of my favourite fashion blogs, but unfortunately it has closed (and purged all content). If anyone is familiar with it and knows of similar, please post!
