Samsung I5801 texts/contacts problem.
My wife has a Samsung I5801 with Android. She has a recurring problem with texts and contacts - in her inbox texts are listed by the correct sender, but when you open or reply to an individual message, it shows up as (and replies to) someone else.
So how do I fix it? I know nothing about phones and software, but I'm guessing it's an Android problem; maybe I need to upgrade that. Problem is, I have no idea how. I need an idiot's guide
[Extra complication: her contract doesn't include any internet access, so I probably can't download any required update directly.]
