Can you tell me how to get an .ss (South Sudan) domain name? Do you have any experiences getting one?

I noticed www.ss redirects to ss.com, so something must be possible. I know South Sudan is the newest nation and this might be ridiculous question. I'm not looking to call the country. I was naively hoping to just register the domain I want and serve traffic from the US.

Best answer: They were just approved for this ccTLD earlier this month. There isn't infrastructure in place yet to support this name in the zone.

You'll want to keep an eye on this page for an update that will include the organization that will oversee that TLD. There is, to date, little information on how this name space will be run and whether there will be second level registrations available.
