Where should we rent a cottage in Western PA?

Three of my sisters live in the Detroit area and another two of us live in NYC. We're seeking a mid-point to rent a house for a week this fall. I'm thinking Western Pennsylvania, probably near the Allegheny National Forest. Any suggestions for towns to look at? We'd love somewhere woodsy, but it doesn't have to be in the middle of nowhere. We all love to cook, so a small town with a good farmer's market would be fantastic. Ideas?

Maybe Titusville, PA? You could visit also visit Drake's Well.

Best answer: Confluence. My inlaws have a summer cottage a few miles away. Exactly what you're looking for. Lots of guesthouses and cabins in the area, and there's always something interesting going on close by -- farmer's markets, flea markets, the Fayette County Fair, Pioneer Days, etc. My husband is very attached to the place. It's close to Ohiopyle State Park and not far from Fallingwater (famous Frank Lloyd Wright-designed house). There's a bike trail along the Youghiogheny River we always love to ride. Trust me, you will not be bored.
