Apparel purchase reference/consumer site?

Is there a site that approaches (online) purchasing of apparel from a serious and rigorous consumer perspective? I'm thinking of a site where I select, say, t-shirts and get detailed information about the garment, various garment variations (athletic t-shirt, work t-shirt, etc), washing Instructions, which high quality value brands that sell t-shirts, verified quality testing of t-shirts from forementioned brands, etc.

would this be a shopping site or would it be one purely for discussion of apparel from a consumer perspective?

Response by poster: More like a reference/wiki site. It doesn't have to have a wen store but it should tell me where I can get high quality value brands for each garment. I'm kinda thinking that such a site doesn't exist...
