Where can I find Southern Tier's Creme Brulee beer in Washington, DC?

Either on tap or in bottles. Metro-accessible, preferably. Thanks!

Hmm.. When I lived in DC I would have gone to the Brickskeller for this kind of specialist brew, but I understand its now closed. Perhaps ask at the successor bar?

Try Birch & Barley and the associated Churchkey.

If a temporary fix will suffice, it looks like DC Beer Week will feature Southern Tier on August 18 at Smith Commons. Might want to contact the organizers, or the bar, to see if they know which specific Southern Tier brews they'll have. Unfortunately you're pretty much stuck with Metrobus to get there now that the H Street Shuttle shut down.

Meanwhile, RFD is the Brickskeller "sister bar" tonylord mentioned, and just a block from the Gallery Place metro.

Best of luck in your quest!

Try giving one of their local distributors a call?

"Looking for one of our beers at your local store but can't find it? Call the nearest distributor and kindly ask them to order it from us."

Also a (very old) post on dcbeer.com indicates that Whole Foods near 14th and P used to carry some Southern Tier, though I have no idea if that's still the case / which varieties they have.

Brickskeller is not closed, just has a new name. It's called the Bier Baron and it's in the same place.

Response by poster: Hey! Here's the answer! I went to a liquor store yesterday and asked, turns out it gets released today. They'll have it at 1 West Dupont Circle Liquors (2012 P St NW) and probably any other place with a large beer selection.
