Ewwww spider

Name that 1980s(?) horror movie based on skimpy details from a half-remembered trailer.
When I was probably 7 or 8 (1980-81) I saw an ad on TV (in the US) for a horror movie that freaked me out for years. The only detail I remember is a woman asleep in a bed. A pair of hands appeared from what would have been the wall behind the headboard and cradled her face. Her mouth slowly opened and a huge spider dropped down into it. She then sat up in the bed screaming. This footage was intercut with other footage from the movie. I'm not sure if she was dreaming about the spider or if the spider is what made her sit up and scream. Although I guess it would be hard to scream with a huge spider in your mouth. Any guesses would be appreciated.

Best answer: And the wikipage shows the head cradling in the poster; the trailer shows a spider falling at about 1:50. I haven't seen it but I bet that is it.

Response by poster: Wow, thanks! I've been wondering about that movie for 30+ years.
