Grand Canyon Kennel Gift ?

What is a good gift for a kennel owner?

A kennel near my home has been a great help to me and my dog, Kenny. The dog actually enjoys going to the kennel because he gets to socialize with other dogs and play. He always comes home exhausted, so I know he is getting tons of exercise there.

I am lucky to have found a great kennel. But more than that, the kennel owner has formed a real bond with Kenny. She genuinely likes my dog, and he gets special treatment. I have arrived early a few times, and found him in the air-conditioned office with the owner, while the rest of the dogs are in their runs.

The kennel owner has been a great help to me - and a huge relief to know that I can go be away working for two days at a time, and my dog is being well treated and cared for.

Kenny is about to have his first extended stay at the kennel. Two weeks, while I take a vacation to Las Vegas, Zion Nat'l Park, and the Grand Canyon.

I want to get the kennel owner a thank you gift for taking such good care of my dog. The owner is a woman in her mid-40s.

What could I get her as I gift - for the kennel? I would like something that is a souvenir from the places I will be visiting. Any thoughts

Aww, Kenny is adorable. I would sponsor an animal - a wild horse, or an animal at the las vegas humane society in the kennel's name - you could present it with a nice certificate and maybe a small souvenir from your trip.

It's tough to bring something back that's useful, and I think this would be appropriate for the context and would be thoughtful.
